Spring Book Fair is here! The Chelsea Book Fair begins next week and will run from February 27th – March 3rd. Students will be visiting the fair as a class Monday through Thursday. Most classes will visit during their scheduled library time; however classes with a Friday library time will visit earlier in the week, as they did at the Fall book fair. Check the day and time with your student’s teacher.
The Chelsea teachers and staff have a fun STEAM night planned for District 157C families that will run from 5:30-7:00 pm on Thursday, March 2nd. Plan to participate in STEAM activities, Touch a Truck, Bulley & Andrews construction demonstrations, and tour the construction progress. The FSP Book Fair will be open as well from 5:30-7:30 pm. Food and snacks will be available for purchase courtesy of Tony’s Villa Rosa. The bus parking lot will be open and available for parking. We look forward to seeing you there! |
BOOK FAIR PAYMENT OPTIONS
We are able to accept cash, check, credit card, Apple Pay, and eWallet as forms of payment during the book fair and Family Night.
Some of you may be familiar with Scholastic's payment option called eWallet. It’s intended to make shopping easier for you and your student. It is simply another option for payment in addition to cash, check, credit card, and Apple Pay.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Visit Chelsea’s Scholastic book fair site (linked above) and load funds electronically into Scholastic’s system using your credit card. The eWallet funds are associated with the specific school’s fair, so if you have children in multiple buildings, you will need to log into each school’s site individually. With eWallet, there is no need to send cash or a check to school with your student! The Book Fair volunteers are able to pull up the funds when your child visits book fair during the school day to make their purchase. It’s really that simple!
Set up an eWallet TODAY!
You are also welcome to shop the fair virtually by clicking the eWallet link and scrolling all the way to the bottom of the page and clicking on “Shop the Virtual Fair”.

Please reach out to the FSP with any questions you may have at fsp157c@gmail.com.
A portion of all purchases comes back to the FSP and is used to purchase books and items for the library, as well as provide great events and fun activities for our students and teachers. We thank you for your continued support and for being such a critical part in making this happen!
